Starting today, you can download and play a demo of Splatoon on the Wii U e-Shop. I did exactly that, and was greeted with this screen shortly after finishing the game’s tutorial.
I can’t help but laugh at Nintendo’s take on pre-order incentives here. Pre-purchase the game so you can get special gear you can ONLY use in the demo, not the final game? And the demo is only available at weird hours? That’s so bad...and yet the most Nintendo thing ever, no?
It’s okay though. The actual game itself is a lot of fun.
