Fifteen years later, itג€™s hard to find a Windows user who hasnג€™t bumped into at least one problem with a Windows update or knows someone who has. Thatג€™s a billion and a half people. From inscrutable driver problems to bricked machines and everywhere in between, Automatic Update is a poster child in ג€�whatג€™s wrong with Windowsג€� circles -- rightfully so.
